My Prayer

Angels whisper softly,

So only they can hear;

A message there of peace and joy,

Speak sweetly in their ear.

Angels sing so sweetly,

A joyous melody;

A song designed to fill their hearts,

With peaceful harmony.

Angels then surround them,

With sparkling, gossamer wings;

And give their heart a happiness,

That only love can bring.

Angels gently take their hand,

And keep them every day;

Whisper to them, "Someone cares,

And they will always pray."

Then each prayer I pray for them,

Give to them tenderly;

Keep them safe inside your arms,

And guard them faithfully.

Angels whisper softly,

So only they can hear;

That someone prays and cares for them,

Speak gently in their ear.
